Admixtures

Air-entraining admixtures are used to stabilize microscopic air bubbles in concrete which can improve the durability of concrete.

Accelerating admixtures are added to concrete to shorten the setting time and accelerate early strength development.

Set retarding admixtures are used to slow the rate of setting of concrete. By slowing the initial setting time, concrete mixtures can stay in a fresh mix state for longer periods of time.

Water Reducers can provide for reductions of water content in concrete by 5 to 10% which in turn can increase strength and concrete performance

Mid-Range Water Reducers are versatile ASTM C494 Type A and F admixtures that can provide water reduction and also improve set times, finishing characteristics and provide higher slumps at placement.

High-Range Water Reducers, or Superplasticizers, are admixtures that can provide water reduction greater than 12% and can also extend set times, improve finishing characteristics and provide higher slumps at placement.
